framework of the Labour Act, to oversee the effective implementation of the
following legislation:

Social Security Act, Act no. 34 of 1994 and Employees Compensation Amendment Act, Act no. 5 of 1995 both by the Social Security Commission. |

The Affirmative Action Act, (Employment)
Act no. 29 of 1998 by the Employment Equity Commission. |
